...not so alone...

My husband left last Saturday to Panama with his friend. I wasn't so worried being alone with Vince since my youngest sister is home. But she went out most of Saturday and she left for work this morning and not coming back 'til Thursday night.
I realized last night, that I will be doing all the preparations to drop off my son to my in-laws. Bottles, feeding Vince and changing him before leaving and of course preparing myself to go to work. When my husband is at home, we take turns on doing stuff so one of us can prepare while the other is preparing our son. This morning... I had to do it myself. It's a good thing I prepared most of the stuff that I needed to bring to my in-law's house last night. Otherwise, I would've had to wake up an hour early just to prepare my son's stuff. FOR SUCH A SMALL GUY, HE OCCUPIES A LOT OF SPACE! heheheh.. not that I'm complaining.

Anyway, i'm going on a tangent there... so... my point is... even though I'm with my baby... I still feel alone... it's different when I'm doing everything alone. I miss him...

Tonight, I'm picking up Vince from my in-laws and will be eating dinner (if I feel like it) alone. UGH! 2 more days...

canceled...

Our six flags is canceled. One of my sisters has to work. Oh well...

3 months

My son is 3 months and a week old. His features seem to change every week. He is now more conscious of his surroundings. He is more consistent with his sleeping pattern (YESSSS!).

Last night, I went to get Vince from my in-laws. My father-in-law was telling me what Vince did yesterday. He usually tells me what's going on so that I'm updated with the new things that Vince learned that day. SO... yesterday, Dad was telling me that while Vince was on his tummy (naka-dapa), he started pushing himself to the side. He is starting to slowly roll-over! Then when I got home, I put Vince on the crib and gave him tummy time again while I clean his changing table. When I turned around, I saw him lying on his back! HE WAS ABLE TO ROLL-OVER COMPLETELY ON HIS OWN! YEY!

Tomorrow, my sisters, Vince and I will be going to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey! My husband is going on vacation to Panama with his friend. I'm not going because I don't want to fly with Vince yet. I went on vacation without Joe last year so I'm letting him go this year without me. He really needs a vacation because the last time he had one was November 2004! Anyhoo... I'm excited and a little worried tomorrow going to Six Flags. This is the first time that Vince and will be traveling without Joe and going to a theme park! Goodluck to us!
