I am trying to recall the days that I spent in Manila since I arrived on April 17, 2005 (Sunday)
April 17, 2005 (Sunday)
My sister and I flew out of New York on April 15, 2005. Our flight was delayed due to the aircraft pilot coming from Vancouver to New York who got sick. Anyway, we got dinner vouchers since we waited until 1am and finally got in the plane. We flew from New York to Vancouver (stop-over) for refueling and also to pickup some passengers. From there, our tv's did not work. So the airline gave us $25 voucher each to be spent from the airline catalog. We did not use it right there and then.
We landed in Hongkong, and of course, we missed our flight to Manila. So, the airline gave us another $75 hongkong dollars for lunch. There, in the Hongkong international airport, we waited for 4 hours. Then we started boarding at 2pm.
We used our vouchers (shopping) and bought chocolates to bring to Manila.
When we got to Manila, Tita Ni (Mayette) and Kuya were there to meet us. Aleth's arrival with me was suppose to be a surprise for the whole family, but I guess, my aunt and brother figured it out.
We got home. I had our helper buy me some stuff. I needed a local SIM card for my cellphone so I don't have to use the international phone and pay international charges. Then I slept until midnight, and slept again until the next day.
April 18, 2005 (Monday)
We woke up a little bit early to go to my grandmother's grave. It's her birthday! We visited her and my grandfather and prayed a little. Then we went to Red Ribbon to buy a birthday cake to celebrate Lola's bday. I also got an additional prepaid card for my local sim. We went home. We had our lunch catered, and we invited some friends. My best friend Dei came over and we had a nice chat. We then had to leave to go to Makati to meet up with Lizette. I met with her at 5pm, then we went home. I stayed home for the rest of the night.
April 19, 2005 (Tuesday)
My sisters and I went to Robinson's Galleria and went shopping for my sister Asiah. We were there most of the day. Then they dropped me off at Shangri La plaza around 6pm (?) to meet with a friend. There we had dinner at Sugar House. I only had desert because my sisters and I just had coffee. After dinner, we went to Shabu-Shabu where we met May and Norman, Clair and Mark. We stayed with them, but we did not eat. We had coffee afterwards in Starbucks, just right across the restaurant. And there we stayed for quite some time. These people are fun to be with! They are so funny! After a couple of hours, we finally went home… since the store is closing. :)
April 20, 2005 (Wednesday)
Dei came with me. I went to Le Visage Salon to get my nails done. It feels good to have them cleaned! Then we went to SM Megamall to do some shopping. I bought some sandals and some shirts. Then we went home. When I got home, I took a nap.
A friend of mine picked me up around 8:30pm for a dinner and a movie. We went to a japanese restaurant for dinner, and went to eastwood for a movie. We watched "Guess Who?" It was an ok movie. After the movie, I went home.
April 21, 2005 (Thursday)
My family went to Punta Fuego. We left around 9pm. My Aunt and Uncle had to go to an embassy to get their visas for their Europe Trip. So we went to Makati to pick them up, then went straight to Batangas (to see pictures click PUNTA FUEGO). We arrived there pretty late, around 5pm, so my siblings and I with their friends had to rush to the infinity pool to take advantage of what’s left of the 30 minutes worth of sunlight. Then we had dinner and I went to sleep. The others played some game… I didn’t have the energy… ok.. I admit… I love my sleep… and my bedtime is 10pm. Ha!
April 22, 2005 (Friday)
I woke up a little bit early than the kids… hehehe. So I took a shower, went outside, took some more pictures. I waited for some people for breakfast. Then I took more pictures. We went to the beach. I didn’t go swimming anymore since I already changed and used my last dry clothes. Actually, I was just lazy to change… hehehehe. Then took more pictures. We Left Punta Fuego at around 2pm. We got home around 7pm. I was going to attend a concert which will start at 8pm. So I rushed to at least take a shower and change. I wouldn’t want to use the same clothes to the concert!!! I got there just in time to meet my friend. The concert I attended was the Martin Nievera and Patti Austin concert. IT WAS AWESOME. I just wish that Patti Austin would play here in New York more often
April 23, 2005 (Saturday)
It’s my sister’s graduation day. I woke up at around 6am since my sister Ash had to be at the graduation grounds by 7:30am. The graduation ended at noon!!! I was so freakin hungry coz I did not have breakfast. We went to KKK (something… Kainan sa Kanluran). I left my family there to go to greenhills to get my hair done… hahahaha! Then I hung out with a friend and saw a comedy show in a place called “Metro”.
April 24, 2005 (Sunday)
This day was hectic. We organized a surprise party for Ash. It is for a Bon Voyage and Congratulations party. My sister is coming here in New York for good, so this is one way for her friends to say “goodbye and see you soon” to her.
April 25, 2005 (Monday)
I stayed home most of the day. At around 4pm, I left to meet with my friends to go to Enchanted Kingdom. It was great! Nobody was there so we were able to take the rides so many times!!! The last time I was there… I can’t even remember when ...I think I was in highschool… there were sooo many people. Too bad they didn’t maintain it properly. Then we went to Tagaytay and had coffee there! Very nice!
April 26, 2005 (Tuesday)
I stayed home again for most of the day. I went to Greenhills to do some shopping. Then I met with some friends around 3pm. Then we went to Market-Market. Then went home. Whole day of shopping is very tiresome!
April 27, 2005 (Wednesday)
I was with my sisters, brother, and Jace. We first went to Rockwell to do some shopping. Then, we went to Robinson’s Sta. Lucia for a facial. Man! That hurt! I had my face cleaned. Then a friend of mine picked me up. We had dinner just to catch up with what’s going on with our lives.
April 28, 2005 (Thursday)
I went to the mall with my sister Ash, Jace and my brother Ari. Shopping again! Then around 5pm, I met some of my friends for supposedly “coffee”, then turned out to be dinner and chatting! I told them I had to be home by 11pm since my flight is 7am, I had to leave the house by 4am!
April 29, 2005 (Friday)
At midnight, my childhood friends came to chat with me. NO SLEEP FOR ME!!! It was really nice of them to see me off. It was sad… My Aunt and Brother took me to the airport. I got there around 5:30am. There was already a long line. But it was fast. I waited for just 30 minutes when they started boarding.
I arrived in New York on the same date.. Hehehe. Manila is 12 hours faster. So I arrived in New York at 2:30pm… so it was already 2:30pm—April 30, 2005—manila time.
My sister-in-law picked me up coz my husband couldn’t leave work or take a day off. She dropped me off at home. THANKS GRACE!
Then I slept… hehehe.

My sister and I flew out of New York on April 15, 2005. Our flight was delayed due to the aircraft pilot coming from Vancouver to New York who got sick. When we got to Manila, Tita Ni (Mayette) and Kuya were there to meet us. Aleth's arrival with me was suppose to be a surprise for the whole family, but I guess, my aunt and brother figured it out.

April 20, 2005 (Wednesday)

April 21, 2005 (Thursday)
My family went to Punta Fuego. We left around 9pm. My Aunt and Uncle had to go to an embassy to get their visas for their Europe Trip. April 22, 2005 (Friday)

I got there just in time to meet my friend. The concert I attended was the Martin Nievera and Patti Austin concert. IT WAS AWESOME. I just wish that Patti Austin would play here in New York more often
April 23, 2005 (Saturday)
It’s my sister’s graduation day. I woke up at around 6am since my sister Ash had to be at the graduation grounds by 7:30am. The graduation ended at noon!!! April 25, 2005 (Monday)
I stayed home most of the day. At around 4pm, I left to meet with my friends to go to Enchanted Kingdom. It was great! Nobody was there so we were able to take the rides so many times!!! The last time I was there… I can’t even remember when ...I think I was in highschool… there were sooo many people. Too bad they didn’t maintain it properly. Then we went to Tagaytay and had coffee there! Very nice!
April 26, 2005 (Tuesday)
I stayed home again for most of the day. I went to Greenhills to do some shopping. Then I met with some friends around 3pm. Then we went to Market-Market. Then went home. Whole day of shopping is very tiresome!
April 27, 2005 (Wednesday)

April 29, 2005 (Friday)
At midnight, my childhood friends came to chat with me. NO SLEEP FOR ME!!! It was really nice of them to see me off. It was sad… My Aunt and Brother took me to the airport. I got there around 5:30am. There was already a long line. But it was fast. I waited for just 30 minutes when they started boarding.
I arrived in New York on the same date.. Hehehe. Manila is 12 hours faster. So I arrived in New York at 2:30pm… so it was already 2:30pm—April 30, 2005—manila time.
My sister-in-law picked me up coz my husband couldn’t leave work or take a day off. She dropped me off at home. THANKS GRACE!
