Busy... busy... busy

The following weeks will be very busy. My mom and Rajan will be selling their New York house, where we are currently staying. So last Saturday, a real estate agent came to look and assess the house. A 2nd real estate agent is coming tonight as well so I have to leave work on time, coz he’s coming between 7:30pm and 8pm. I have to leave work at 6pm.
Its memorial weekend, so we get to leave work early this Friday (May 27) at 3pm instead of 6pm. Joe is actually off that day so he gets to stay home. Lucky him! Anyway, my Aunt and my youngest sister are coming from their Europe trip this Saturday (May 28). So we have to pick them up from the airport around 9pm. Sunday (May 29), we’ll do some food shopping. Monday (May 30 no work), Joe is going to play golf, so we get to do whatever we want… I have to ask my sisters and Aunt what they want to do.
Then the following weekend, we are going to Washington, DC. We’re leaving Friday night (June 3). I’m driving 5 hours from work!!! We’ll visit the White House, Pentagon (if possible), Capitol Hill, Department of Treasury (we get to see how they make money!!!), and Smithsonian (definitely!). We’ll stay there for 2 nights. We’ll leave DC after lunch, probably around 2pm on Sunday (June 5). We can drive around in the morning and take some pictures.
On June 10, 2005, my Aunt is going back to Philippines. She’s leaving on a Friday, so I asked my sister to take a day off and drive our Aunt to the airport since I can’t take a day off. June 16-17, I’m going on a business trip to Florida. A couple of days after that (not sure about the specific date yet), my husband and I have to do a walk through for the house that we’re buying, and then we’ll close (hopefully!!!!).
July will be a month for moving and fixing stuff at the new place. This is going to be a roller coaster ride for Joe and me. I know we will be fighting about small things, like what color to use, what paint to put, etc. But I know we’ll get through it. It’s going to be interesting.
My youngest sister’s life will be different as well. She’ll have to start looking for a job. I may offer her a temp job here where I work for just a week so at least she has money to use. Hopefully she could get a job fast.
I am actually looking for a part time job as well. I already called some hospitals to check on weekend jobs. I was told to fax my resume. So I’ll fix my resume tonight and fax it tomorrow. I’ll check the New York Times as well. I saw some opening for legal/finance word processors. It seems an easy job to do.
